Heart Miami Art Miami 2008 has announced a partnership with Constance Collins Margulies Sundari Fondation, a Miami based public charity dedicated to education and social inclusion of homeless women and children, and its supporting foundation, the Lotus Endowment Fund. Art Miami and the Sundari Foundation will work together to create a public awareness and fundraising campaign entitled Heart Miami that will highlight the spiritual heart of art and the profound ways in which art has the capacity to touch and uplift those most in need. As part of this initiative, the Sundari Foundation will create a socially conscious line of products bearing the words Heart Miami. All proceeds of the initiative will benefit the Lotus House Women's Shelter, a unique resource center and shelter with wrap around support services housing approximately 130 homeless women and children in Miami each year. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Art Miami's Opening Night VIP Preview will also benefit the Lotus House Women's Shelter and other Sundari Foundation initiatives. In addition, Art Miami will be a main sponsor of the Sundari Foundations Fourth Annual Contemporary Art Auction and Dinner, taking place on November 8, 2008 at the Margulies Art Warehouse.
