Sugar & Gomorrah

Peter Anton's experiential “Sugar & Gomorrah” is the world's first art installation in which the viewer journeys in a reworked carnival ride through a modern interpretation of the destruction of a Sodom and Gomorrah-like world. Attendees will be able to enjoy the ride as part of the outdoor exhibition area.

ART FROM BERLIN will be Miami’s first showcase of some of the most celebrated Berlin galleries, presenting contemporary, international and innovative works specific to the state of Berlin, sponsored by the European Union, and on display in the CONTEXT Art Miami Pavilion. Works by renowned artists such as Christine Rusche, Christine Klatt, Franziska Klotz, Levke Leiss, Susanne Ring, Inka & Niclas, and Eva Betram will serve as the highlights of this special exhibition. Video Program: Girls or Boys? Who Cares?!
The Art Video | New Media Lounge, located in the CONTEXT Art Miami Pavilion, will showcase a carefully selected group of works sourced from museums, private collections and art institutions across Europe and the United States. The program is curated by Julia Draganovic, and Claudia Loffelholz, fouders of LaRete Art Projects.
“Boys or girls? Who cares?!” presents a series of video art works approaching the polemic gender issues in modern society, and questioning the ongoing debate about the current roles of men and women. The Buoniconti Fund VIP Reception at the CONTEXT Art Miami Pavilion

Art Miami and the Buoniconti Fund host a VIP reception featuring the artwork of Ma Desheng, who will be present for the event. A portion of artwork sales proceeds will be donated to The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.
MAM Party on the Plaza

The Miami Art Museum Party on the Plaza is the Museum's largest event of the year. Hosted by MAM Director Thom Collins, the celebration of the New York Miami 2013 exhibition will feature newly commissioned works by Miami's vibrant artistic community, special musical performances, and cocktails on the Museum's outdoor plaza.
